Sparring

Here is Madyson ready to really spar for the first time. And, it turns out her head is too big for the youth large helmet!!! Mrs. Galvin is going to have to order her an adult small!!!
Madyson did a great job sparring...she kicked and hit like a pro!! Not a black belt, but an orange belt pro.

Saturday morning she gets to compete with other beginners (white, gold, and orange belts) in her first intra-school tournament in the forms and sparring divisions. She is so excited; I am not sure if the excitement is attributed to the actual tournament or to the fact that all entries will receive a trophy. I guess you will just have to come back and check our Saturday entry and find out.
