Sweet Reunion

After almost a year of not seeing each other check out their reactions!!

Neither girl knew this was going to happen. Abbey never saw road signs about being close to Knoxville...in fact her parents convinced her to take a nap in the car for a while and woke her up under the guise of "having to ask this family for directions". So, imagine the shock on her face when Madyson opened the door!! It took every ounce of restraint not to tell Madyson that Abbey was coming up for a visit. She has gone on and on about how much she misses her and how much she can't wait until fall break so we can go to Florida and visit her and about how much she longs to see her and loves her and on and on and on. ..I think you get the picture here.

Since Abbey's birthday is next month we went ahead and got her a birthday present to give to her since I am HORRIBLE about going to the bank (just ask my dad!) and mailing anything.
BTW, why can't the post office have a drive-thru window!?! I hate dragging three kids and my packages in the post office!! Anyways, enough of a rabbit trail.

The girls had a wonderful time reconnecting and if you ask them, they stayed up til 5:33am talking and catching up! We are going to try to make it to Asheville, NC to visit them on Tuesday. (Jim is up here for work and they turned it into a family vacation...visiting us, doing the work thing, and then going onto Greenville.) Who knows, with any luck, there may be more pictures to come!
