Four of Four...all caught up!

My friend Tracy and I decided to take our lovely girls out on a Girls Day. We began the day eating lunch out at Steak and Shake...you can't get much better than burgers, fries, milkshakes, and friendship. Then we jumped on the interstate to go to Crossville. We had what we thought to be an hour and a half to go the 62 mile trip...the perfect amount of time. Well, we drive out of Knox County, get threw Roane County and into Cumberland County and then I see the unknown time zone change sign. Good thing gained the hour and didn't lose it! Now we have TWO and a half hours to waste!! We were glad to see that they have an outlet mall on 298 that you drive right past!! We pulled over and walked the mall for a little while and then finished our venture to the Cumberland County Playhouse.

With the exception of one of Mady's unexpected nosebleeds right before intermission, everything went swimmingly! Madison and Madyson absolutely loved the whole experience. The only thing that dimmed the day a bit was that the cast only comes out following the evening show and not the matinée...so they couldn't meet the beautiful Belle and her prince. Now, both girls want to act in plays. We'll have to wait and see on that one!!

We left there at 6:30 Knoxville time and went out to eat dinner at Cracker Barrel to finish off our first girls day.

Looks like a super fun day! That was one of my favorite things to do (and still is!) to go and see plays! I saw Beauty and the Beast when I was 9 or 10! So good!! Glad you girls had a fun Mother Daughter day!!
