Nov. 1 was a very busy day. We started out at Home Depot with some frineds of ours to do the Leaf Press Kids Workshop. That went splendidly...lots of hammering and starting over and more hammering and just simply settling on the look of your project. Kids craft my foot!!! Then we proceeded to our house for lunch--chili dogs!!
That afternoon we went to the church's Fall Festival and met up with our extended family. We hadn't seen them in like a month because of being out of town and whatnot, so it was good to see them again. A short side note: Jael has recently become obsessed with the Power Rangers: Jungle Fury, especially the white one. After weeks of wondering "why the obsession?", I finally think I figured it out. The white power ranger is the spiting image of Foster in about 15 years. Sorry that last photo cuts off Foster's head...every single one I tried did it and this is the best one I could come up with.
That night we had the neighbor girl over and did s'mores in the fireplace...a wonderful Council tradition. We get the goodness of the fire and the s'mores in the comfort of our very own living room...you couldn't ask for a better combination.
